Go to the Ocean

The Valley Seniors Organization has a Centre that is open all year round. It is located at 198 Government Street in Duncan and has lots of activities to choose from every day of the week. They charge a yearly membership fee and offer low-cost food and meals to members as one of their benefits.

Duncan Farmer’s Market

Go visit the farmer’s market. The farmer’s market is open every Saturday from early April until the end of October from nine in the morning to two in the afternoon at 200 Craig Street. There are all kinds of vendors of produce, food, and crafts from local artisans. This is a great outing even if it’s cool or overcast. You don’t have to buy anything! Just take a walk around and get some fresh air.
